This process helps to provide a consistent and steady release of hormones into the bloodstream. Over the next several months, the pellets release gradually into the bloodstream. Females have a follow-up appointment 6 weeks after insertion, to monitor hormone levels, assess symptoms, and determine if adjustments to the treatment plan are needed.
Male Pellet Insertion
